The job

We’re currently looking for both a skilled Chef and a reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team in Aarhus.

Chef

Responsibilities (What you’ll be doing)

Prepare and cook dishes to Restaurant Klokken’s standards

Keep your station clean, organised and ready for service

Follow food safety and hygiene standards, always

Work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly

Stay focused and keep the pace up during busy shifts

Make sure every dish goes out with great quality and consistency

Qualifications (What we’re looking for)

Proven experience as a Chef

Strong cooking skills and good understanding of timing and technique

You stay calm and work well under pressure

You enjoy working as part of a team and communicate well

Food safety certification is a plus

Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities (What you’ll be doing)

Keep the kitchen clean, organised and service-ready throughout the shift

Support the chefs during prep and service to keep everything running smoothly

Help ensure food is handled correctly and meets Restaurant Klokken’s quality standards

Make sure the kitchen is stocked with the essentials (containers, trays, supplies etc.)

Receive deliveries and keep storage areas tidy and well organised

Follow hygiene and cleaning routines, no shortcuts

Step in where needed to support the team during busy shifts

Qualifications (What we’re looking for)

Experience from a kitchen is a plus, but not required

You’re reliable, hardworking and ready to learn

You follow instructions and work efficiently

You take pride in cleanliness, structure and doing things properly

You enjoy being part of a team and supporting others
